Vintage lamp featuring as its main element a brutalist disc sculpture, presumably made of steel, with additional brass elements applied later. The ‘JD’ monogram engraved on the lower edge of the frame suggests it can be attributed to the Belgian blacksmith and sculptor Jean Deprez (born in 1939 in Mons), although it can’t be confirmed.
A combination of metals, a perforated steel base, and brass inserts with a textured, irregular surface, giving it a brutalist design typical of the Sixties and Seventies.
